Estonian Minister of Foreign Trade and IT Kaimar Karu was in The Hague from 10th to 12th February to meet State Secretary for the Interior Raymond Knops, standing in for the interior minister of the Netherlands, visit the European Space Technology and Research Center (ESTEC) of the European Space Agency (ESA), meet with the Estonian specialists working there and with ESA Director General Jan Worner. The Estonian minister also delivered a lecture, took part in a discussion round with representatives of the ICTU network for the digital development of the public sector of the Netherlands and met with representatives of Estonian wooden house manufacturers and their local partners. The business delegation included representatives of Estonian companies Harmet, Kodasema, Matek, Q-Haus, Timbeco, KMT Prefab, Peetri Puit; Testonica Lab, Skeleton Technologies, Power Up Technologies, Guardtime, Golbriak Space, Milrem Robotics, Tartu Science Park, ESA BIC Estonia and Invent Baltics.
A separate meeting organised by Honorary Consul from Zwolle Nicolaas van de Griendt and EAS export adviser Thijs de Neeve with participation of Estonian wooden house manufacturers took place on 13 February at historical Government Building of Province of Limburg.
