We celebrated Estonian Independence Day with a traditional family party with the Estonian School in the Netherlands. The children were welcomed on the blue carpet by the ambassador and his wife, and at the concert we were entertained by songs, folk dances and beautiful music. The table was covered with the best Estonian delicacies. We also kicked off the “Year of the Estonian Book” by drawing characters and recalling witty quotes from our favorite books.
