The Pärtpetuum Festival dedicated to the Estonian Composer Arvo Pärt

On May 22, the final concert of the Pärtpetuum Festival dedicated to the work of Arvo Pärt took place in the beautiful Maria van Jesse Church in Delft.

Ambassador Lauri Kuusing symbolically wrapped up the whole festival. In addition to Arvo Pärt’s work, Pärt Uusberg’s “Õhtul” was performed at the final concert by the Delft Chamber Choir (in Estonian!), which sounded very impressive.

The Pärtpetuum Festival had a very diverse program, where in addition to concerts, attention was dedicated to theater and film, and workshops, yoga classes and walks introducing Pärt’s work were held.

We thank the main organizers of the festival – the Delft Blue Chamber Choir and the Delft´s Choir School – for this beautiful experience!
