On 11 May, a delegation of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Riigikogu led by Marko Mihkelson (Chairman of the Committee) paid a visit to The City of Peace and Justice – The Hague. The main topic of the visit was the provision of military, economic and political support to Ukraine, including the granting of the status of an EU candidate country. The members of the Foreign Affairs Committee attended meetings with the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Dutch Parliament, the International Criminal Court, the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Center for Strategic Studies in The Hague. At the International Criminal Court (ICC), members of the Foreign Affairs Committee met with Piotr Hofmański, President of the Court, to discuss the role and activities of the Court. The meeting with Prosecutor Karim Khan focused on the investigation and prosecution of crimes against humanity committed by Russia in Ukraine.
