Ambassador Teesalu welcomed companies, partners and friends at the Estonian pavilion at the Metstrade marine industry fair on November 19. It was the first time that Estonian companies participated with a joint pavilion and to celebrate the occasion Estonian flag was raised in front of the RAI Convention Centre. Our Honorary Consul, Nick van de Griendt, also visited the four Estonian companies present at the fair: NAS Marine, Top Marine, Purpletail (VoltSense) and Conectra, led by the Estonian Marine Industry Association. The Estonian marine industry in general is characterized by “can-do people” plus the willingness to think along and develop smart products.
